Mboro to the rescue!

NOCAWE Fohlo’s wish for a proper house has been granted thanks to Joburg’s Pastor Paseka “Mboro” Motsoeneng and SunPower.

A month ago, Nocawe of Mthatha’s Slovo kasi, told the SunTeam she wished Mboro would build a house for her struggling family of 11.

Yesterday Mboro, with a big crowd of his fans, councillors and mayoral staff, visited the family.

Gospel star Lusanda Mcinga of Lusanda Spiritual Group welcomed the famous pastor.

It was a dream come true for jobless Nocawe (42). She looks after her son Zukhanye (9) who was born with celebral palsy and can’t walk, talk or do anything for himself.

Nocawe’s husband Wonke (62) used to work on the Rustenburg mines, but needs care after strokes left him incapable of working since 2011.

Living in one bedroom with other relatives took its toll on the family, which survives on two R1 500 disability grants.

Nocawe asked the SunTeam to help her contact the pastor.

Mboro was touched when he read about the family’s situation in Daily Sun, and promised to help.

When he saw their tiny house yesterday he vowed to build a proper house for them and gave Nocawe R1 500 for food.

He said he would give her R700 a month.

“Thanks to Daily Sun for helping this family and telling their story,” he said.

Lindelwa Ntlonze, King Sabata Dalindyebo special projects manager, thanked Daily Sun and Mboro for alerting the council to the family.

“We will make sure the child gets special hospital care.

“The municipality has a backlog of people needing help and we appreciate those who come forward to assist us,” said Ntlonze.
